Holiday Closure
From the staff at Quinte Conservation, we would like to wish you and your family a happy, safe, and bright Holiday Season.
Our office will be closed starting at noon on December 24th and will re-open on January 5, 2026.
As a special THANK YOU, our Conservation Areas will have free parking for 2 weeks, starting on Saturday, December 20th. All other CA rules and regulations apply.
Building on your property
Quinte Conservation and the Low Water Response Team have reduced the region’s low water condition to Level 1. Watershed conditions stabilized over the month of November and into December, with near normal rainfall and snowfall offsetting the deficient precipitation amounts from August through to the present. Adjacent watershed regions have also seen similar improvements and have likewise reduced their condition status.
The Province of Ontario has passed Bill 68, ‘Plan to Protect Ontario Act’, which will establish a new provincial agency to oversee the activities of conservation authorities and will have the power to direct regional strategic planning, and financial & operational matters.
Quinte Conservation and the Low Water Response Team have reduced the region’s low water condition to level 2.
